E-Health Network of Long Island is being built by a groundswell of providers within eastern Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Because of this, it is particularly attentive to the unique needs of patients and providers within our own community. It is also coordinating with regional health information organizations (RHIOs) like ours, throughout the state to promote interoperability; that is, building compatible technology across RHIOs so that patients’ health information can follow them whenever and wherever they seek treatment in New York State.
